2004 maxima rod bearing noise?? Help please

I have almost 78,000 miles on motor. N why did this happen?

Are you sure that's what the noise is? What's it sound like? How has your oil change behavior been?

yep 100% I'm positive . It does it when starting up n reving more engine. I used to put royal purple then 8 months later I swicth to Moblie EP. But long time ago I had cel on for o2 sensor but I igorne it then cat went bad n I went over 30,000 miles I believe by nt doing part change. Fillany I went to nissan dealer n they change cat bec under warranty. N I paid for 02 sensor after dat cel gone 2,500 miles later engine making noise. Went to nissan dealer to check what dat engine noise n they said it is rod bearing n said that have nothing to do with cat. I tld them engine noise cme after they change cat.

O2 sensor/cat can't possibly be related to rod bearing issues.

I had cai, cat back, ecu reflash. Will u think mayb bec of aem dryflow filter bec one day I was cleaning it n I let it dry for one day then later I spray oil around filter "aem oil filter" 15 min later I put it back on cai n driving car 2 day then after dat engine was making dat noises u think bec of oil was stucking into engine. Bec I didn't let dry after I sprayed oil on filter.

U think bec of dat engine damange?

Spelling correctly would make your posts much easier to read.

None of those things could lead to rod bearing damage. Only thing that could cause that is severe oil starvation or a manufacturing defect. That's why I asked about your oil change interval habits. How long do you go between oil changes?

Can you describe the noise at all? Is it a rattle, a thunking, a grating, etc.?

every 3,000-6,000 miles oil change from Moblie one extended peformance. N what grade wld u recommend for my car. 5w30 or 10w30? It making tapping noises every startup or when reving more engine higher.
