I have 30,000 miles on the motor n 100,000 miles on 5spd auto transmission.

I'm getting 350 miles emply tank.

10w40 RP oil n I used mobil ATF lasts 2 time I did drain/refill in those 100,000 miles n transmission is slipping from 2nd to 3rd so my next drain/refill transmission I'm gonna put lubegard platnuim ATF plus mobil ATF in there n I hope is help.

I wanna improve my gas meilage n idk if ngk irdruimn step 1 colder pluger can hurt gas mileage. Can they?

I don't have cel n I never change iginition wires ever.

Mods:
aem cai now I got hole on it so I put metal tape around. Do I still need new cai?

Greedy exhaust

raclinepeformance engine ground wire n motor mount

Bc racing coilover

technosquare ecu reflashed with stock timing

first off, how many gallons do you consider a full tank? Im sure you dont top it off, and completely run it bone dry.
Second, your car has coil packs, not wires
third, do you do mainly city or highway driving
fourth, you get better gas mileage than me

Ya you get pretty good mileage it seems like. Dont take this the wrong way but usually people with mods drive a bit faster, is that true? Whats up with the hole in your intake? Maybe your clogging the air inlet up?

On my 03 6 speed that's about what I usually get for mixed highway and city. A high flow exhaust is always going to take a little hit in the mileage department.

Do u have 95 or 97 maxima if so ur n mine is different if u know that we both different engine plus I'm suppose to be getting more btw I'm not been mean if u think I'm tho.

I get 350 before my gas light about to come on n I drive 100 miles per day.

I do not drive hard at all n I never change coil packs so can coil pack affect bad gas mileage?

people wit mods there do go fasts but I don't at all not until I found what wrong with my gas meilage. 2nd my intake have hole by mid pipe so I put metal tape around it unitl I get differnt intake.

I'm thinking fujita or takeda idk which one yet?

Not to be rude, but you're not American are you?

I think what I myself and everyone else is trying to tell you is:
maxima's are not known for great gas mileage, they have the appetite of a V8.

But the best thing I can tell you gas mileage wise is, put the factory intake back on. I have a 99, I know we have different engines, but among the models the mileage is around the same.

And yes I will be at Import Alliance

EDIT: Just noticed you said you have 20" rims. Those are probably hurting your mileage. Simply think, your OE wheels were smaller=less weight, your new wheels are bigger=more weight. Your car working harder to turn those big wheels.

EPA estimate of ~23 miles a gallon. Your car has IIRC a 20 gallon tank. Im sure you dont use all 20 gallons though. You are more than likely doing 16-17 at fill ups. So say you are getting 350 to a "tank" and I will use 23mpg. Which means you are getting around 21mpg. Add in the intake problem and big wheels, and you are easily loosing 2mpg.

In conclusion, your mpg is normal

how u know I'm not an american? I was born in india so call me whatever u want lol.

I don't want to put facotry intake back lol n I didn't maxima was known like v8.

So u saying this is normal correct can colder plug hurt my gas meilage?

If u going to import Allen then that cool cuz I be coming to from Memphis. Can u pm ur number.

U GOT PM!

Why did you put in a colder plug? You don't need to do that unless your doing internal engine mods or forced induction.

I was trying to be mean, your English is just broken.

EDIT: I will be at import alliance, this is your best bet of contact for me. I am almost deaf, so I dont talk on the phone much. Also your private messages are turned off.You can turn them on in your control panel

I have like 1800 miles, I did break it in. I don't drive my car hard at all. Just more city than highway. My 2010 has the range on the dash so when the range hits 60 miles left on the tank,, the warning comes up, and thats usually at around 300 miles. Thats why I drive on the highway as muich as possible.

My car can acutually get like 30mpg on the highway. I went on a little bit of a roadtrip to six flags great adevnture. The whole time I was getting like 30+ mpg, my range on the dash was going up to 410+. Im sure if you stick to a highway for a whole tank you can get almost 500 miles out of a tank.

Wow... I have a '04 with the manual transmission.
I usually get 30mpg on the highway if I do 70-80mph.
Right now, with mixed driving, I'm at 27mpg.

No mods. I have the 17's off a G35 rather than the 18's. But like to shift around 2.5k-2.7k rpm and I cruise in 6th at around 40mph.
But occasionally ramp her up on the highway
