2004 maxima air bag light

I recently rebuilt a crashed 04 maxima,it was hit fairly hard in the front end.Air bags were deployed.I did all the repairs except wiring repairs and mechanical problems.I just drove it home from my repair facility.The only problem that remains is the air bag light does not go out.The scanner said there is no air bag problem but it has a air bag light.My mechanic who is not a nissan dealer felt it was the module.I replaced the module with a used one but that does not mean it might not be bad.Any help would be greatly appreciated.Thanks DAN

This is one of the few things I would ONLY trust my Nissan dealer on. Take it in and have them scan it and look at it. It might cost you a bit of money, but that's better than finding out the hard way that the airbag is faulty.
