Hey guys, I am looking to change out my rims/tires on my new to me '04 M45. A local guy has some 2012 M37 rims for sale.
Stock size is 235/45/18 - which are on the original OEM 7.5 wide rims now. The M37 rims are 8" wide and have 245/50/18 tires on them now. Will I have a rubbing issue by going up a size all the way around on these M37 rims and tires? Any feedback is appreciated.

I'll let someone with a Y34 respond but I don't think so.

Offset will be your main issue, most likely. Test the wheels on the front of your 2004 to make sure the spokes clear the brakes.
I haven't tried the M37 wheels, but I know the M35 and M35S wheels wouldn't even mount on the front hub properly.

Update - I purchased the 2012 M37 rims and put them on. They fit, but are very tight. So far no rubbing, I'm thinking if I hit a decent hole/dip the fronts will rub. Time will tell - very happy. Don't know how to post a pic or it would be here.
