Hey guys, Glad to be part of this great forum. I just bought a 2004 M45, graphite gray outside, black inside, with warranty through July 2008. I want to get some suspension work done (either air suspension from Universal, or JIC Magic, cost similar, approx. $3,000....cannot find springs), as well as getting some new wheels. Will my warranty be null and void if I change wheel and tires? Should I wait until my warranty expires before I start changing my stock M45?

And final question. Have any of you used MRR wheels or heard of them? I really like the ones offered by JIC Magic, but they only offer upto 18". They told me they would be offering larger wheels in a few months.

Anything you do to any part of your vehicle does not void the warranty on any part of your car as long as the modification is not the direct cause of the part failure...

Changing wheels and tires does nothing to affect the car at all. Doing suspension work, that is different. If you have a ball joint or tie rod or whatever go out they might fight you on that one and make you pay for it.I would stay away from UAS and go with AirRunner, but thats just me(maybe because thats what I might get, or Bold World if things are good at the time)MRR wheels are made by Herrubini or something like that, which is made in Japan, I believe. Which wheels were you thinking about getting? They make them in 20" in most styles, check Ebay they have most styles on there in 20". BUT they only come with high offsets, unless thats what you want, and only go as wide as 9.5".Cheers

there is a law that states something like dealership has to prove that the after-market part cause the problem. and they wont tell you this and you have to shove it in them. most ot the times, they wont be able to prove it, from what i heard.

depends on how good your lawyer is and how bad theirs is. installing parts that clearly state " for offroad use only" does not help your situation out any at all.

Thanks for your input. Really appreciate all this information. I'll send pics out as soon as I get all the work done in my car.
