I tried to play a CD-R that was black on both sides in the car. The CD changer would not read the disc. Ever since then, the CD changer wil not read any discs. I disconnected the battery hoping this would reset the problem, but it still persists. Can anyone offer any insite on how I may resolve this issue?

Buy a CD lens cleaner. That should work.

I had the same problem, usually fast forwarding a few tracks will make it read the cd. For some reason our cd changers don't like the generic brands but sony works just fine
