I need to replace the struts on all four corners and have found out that this is incredibly expensive. Stock OEM struts are 400 for the rears and 250 for the fronts. Coilovers are 1000 and will cost 800 to install. My question is how have other owners gone about replacing the struts and is there any cheaper way avalable?

You're going to quickly realize why many Q45 owners sell their cars and why used car lots struggle to sell the Q45. Have you tried the likes of http://www.InfinitiPartsUSA.com or just search for generic aftermarket struts/shocks? OEM struts/shocks will be extremely expensive for pairs. Many owners have simply paid the high cost of replacement or installed coilovers/air suspension. The best way to reduce the overall cost is to install the parts yourself or have someone install them for you at a discount or for free. The reality about the Q45 is that it's an extremely expensive late model luxury vehicle to maintain/own.

It will probably last much long if you do the work yourself. Other than tires and alignment no one has touched my Q for the most part of the last 200k miles of ownership
