Hi,

I just bought a car from a local dealer and looks like when I accelerate some motor kind of sound (tak tak.....continues) coming from rear side (not sure but may be from left rear). When the car is steady i.e. in parking there is no sound but when I accelerate on road it makes sound and when I remove my foot from acceleration paddlethe sound slowing lower downs and again on steady it doesn't make sound. Does anyone faced the same problem? What's wrong going on with it? Please help me with it. Thanks --- AP

Welcome to NICO!

Could you post a video with the sound, as that's the only way we'll be able to try and help you.

Ok, I will try to make one. I will have to ask someone to sit behind and record the sound for me.

Could you jack up the rear and support it on stands and then listen for the sound? May be easier to pinpoint.

I had the same issue, its been a while since I fixed it. Ended up being a broken off bolt that held the rear strut in place. It was shaking around and annoying as hell. I welded a new bolt onto the shock and re-installed it. the hardest part was getting the rear seat out... The whole job took about 2 hours and save me about 1500+ bucks
