2004 Infiniti Q45 rearview camera

is there anyway to turn off the rearview camera on this model? thanks in advance for any help Thanks Milt

1. When you take it out of reverse, the camera goes off.

2. As I recall, there is also a setting that prevents it from being turned on at all, even when in reverse. Should be one of the set up items on the menu.

However, why do you want to do this? The rear-view camera on the Q45 is one of the best implementations I have seen. Very clear picture, with decent markings as to where the car would track, etc.

my wife is taking heer road test in the car and the camera is not aloowed here in NY. thanks i will look into it

Sounds like a peice of notebook paper could solve that problem if you can't find it in the menu.
