2004 infiniti i35 dash lights wont stay on after headunit re

Hi I did a aftermarket unit change on the i35 single din now when ever I turn my headlights on the dashboard lights dont stay on. I need help bad. high school student with no money I wud really appreciate the help thanks again in advance
