Has anybody used the PAC AAI-NIS2 on the 2004 i35? I'm trying to add aux input on my car but would rather go with this option instead of the fm modulator..

Reading some other post, I heard the 2004 i35 model came pre-wired for satellite radio, but not sure if PAC AAI-NIS2 will work

Any feed back would be appreciated

thanks

The application list doesn't have the I35 listed, and that radio was essentially a carry over from the 2000-up I's so I don't think that it will work. An email to PAC would probably be your best bet, but I wouldn't be to hopeful.

The device wont work unless you switch out the I35 factory radio headunit. None of the I35 models came with an "Auxiliary Input" the satellite radio was installed with an special harness that tap on the connectors on the back of the audio unit. You can switchout the I35 radio head unit with a I30 head unit (00-02 models). The I30 contains a "Aux Input" due to the external 6CD changer in the trunk.
