Hello Everyone - maybe you can help me with this issue.

I've got water in the driver & passenger floorboards. A couple of things:

1) It is not coolant. Heater core is fine.

2) I've checked the drain from the HVAC box and it is not clogged. Draining fine. If it was overflowing I would just have water in the passenger side....correct?

3) I've checked the sunroof drains. They are working fine.

4) I pulled the cowl to look at the windshield. Seem all sealed just fine.

So, at this point, I don't know where to go or what to check next.

As mentioned, if it was the HVAC box overflowing then water would just be on the passenger side....right?

Just for curiousity, anyone know how to clean the HVAC drain from the inside out? When I pull out the cabin filters to the HVAC box, the heater core is in the way of the drain.

Thanks.

You have done your part in trying to isolate the problem. Was it raining when it happened? If so, you may have corrosion problem on the floor board. Some car have plugs on the floor board and they can come off. It would be better to jack up your car, use jack stand, and then check the floor board areas.
