hi every one

I was searching for new look for the gauges and what I found are these









that is horrable

what they did is opining the gauges and changing the leds

how do they did it ?





any idea about this ?

Soldering Iron and LED's. Your going to have to take out the board with all the LED's on it to get to the back so you can heat the connections up and pull the old LED's out. Then you replace them with the new ones with the color of your choice.

Funny those are my pics you posted (except the top one) You have to solder in/out over 500 LED's to complete the job. I know someone that does it but it's not cheap, e-mail me for info...

And the 2nd one being horrible, I wouldn't go that far but it was just too bright, that's why I had mine redone to be like this:





BTW that top pic is the different gauge faces as well, that's why it looks even more different...

Looks like the same ones used in the 4th gen rear window switches. Not too bad to remove just takes some time. And a steady hand lol

I think the top is for camera

the midle is the navi and DVD plyer

OK the bottom is the stock info screen just moved to the bottom. The middle is the NAVI headunit/DVD player. the top is hooked up to an RCA switch box t run the rearview camera and DVD/IPOD movies. But pretty much is always set to rear view...

you did a great job changing all the leds to blue! i wish i had that much time... blue is such a great color especially LED BLUE!!!!!!! MAD PROPS!!!!!!!
