New here...great site with a lot of info...been looking through posts for about 3 hours now ha!...

Couple of questions I have...

I just went out and found that the Satellite pre-wire is in my trunk...but I haven't found an answer on here if the antennae is pre-wired also...since I can't find anything that looks like it...I would think not...

Also since most of the links seem to be older to parts and take me to some other site than the link shows...what is a good place to get a receiver/antennae that will connect to the wiring harness in the trunk?...

And if I wanted to do the iPod/satellite combo that I've seen referenced on here...where would I find that adapter?...

And I guess the last question I have is...if I did the iPod/satellite combo...is there extra wiring through the car needed to complete that?...

Thanks for any responses I get!...

There is no antenna pre-wire.

You will have a hard time finding a receiver. They have been discontinued for a long time. You'll have to buy one used, or pay a premium to someone that still has a NOS laying around in the back of the warehouse. Also, you need to be sure you are getting the right one for the service you want. Though the companies are merged, the satellites in the air still have different frequencies. So you have to choose a Sirius or an XM receiver. And make sure you get an antenna that is compatible with the receiver you choose.

I don't know about the iPod/satellite splitter.

Good luck....

Best bet for parts is to watch ebay for vendors selling lots of used parts. Reach out to them to see if they can source what you need.
