The AWD is binding up at low speed - like backing out of the driveway speeds. Any tips on diagnosing what has gone south besides taking it to a dealer. If at all possible I would like to do as much as I can before that last resort. I have read the system is supposed to cut out at low speeds, but mine is obviously not. Along with really suckie gas mileage I am sure it is not good for the drivetrain either. Any help I can get will be greatly appreciated!

Usually the dealer will have to use Consult to see what is going on unless you can pull some codes.

Good luck :(

lol, the title to this post sounds funny... so your car drives like its in "snow mode" all the time? make sure nothing is resting on the "snow mode" switch...
