Hi, I'm new to the forum. I recently test drove the G35 Sedan and the TSX. It's like night and day. I currently own an Accord and would like to know what changes will be made on the 2004 G35 Sedan. If not many, I can buy a 2003 later. Is the sports suspension worth it? I test drove one that had it...Thanks. :)

Welcome to our little club!!:)

Even the base suspension has elicited parise from tester during sports sedan testing.I am sure the sports supension is even better, albeit a bit stiffer.

Changes on the 04 will be few, given the G's newness. Also the G35 has already experienced a certain revison with the 2003.5 model.

I would be very surprised if the 04 is different in any sigificxance at all from the 03.5.

I will check with one of our dealer reps to make sure.

Hmm....I didn't know there was a 2003.5 version...What changes happened there? Does that explain as to why there isn't any Royal Blue cars left?? That Carribean Blue is ugly....The TSX can't compare to the G35 but of course, the G35 is a lot more expensive so it's a matter of how much I want to spend...I don't mind getting no options on the G35 in order to keep it under 30K....The TSX is a very nice looking car for an Acura but the torque is too low for a 27K car....If the TSX was priced at 25K like it should be, I'd probably get it.....

Yes there where some minor changes in the late 03 G35.One of which was to reduce rattle possibilities and I am still researching the rest.

the acura tsx is the jdm accord brought to america as a honda, it comes with a k24 (2.4 n/a I-4), it has 2oohp and 160tq, the suspension set up is suposed to be great, its a 4door only, dual exhaust, and FWD, it comes with an optional 6speed

No way, the best 4cyl ever was definately the SR20DE Infiniti G20. ;) Anyway, I know one of the changes to the 2003.5 was to have the INFINITI lettering all the way across the back of the trunk lid since people didn't like the latch on the original models.

well, this wasnt my opinion, and i still dont think its THAT great of a car, well rounded says it to me, but for the 25k price tag, u can easily get a 6cyl altima, or wrx or whatever ya know, the wrx isnt as 'nice', but the altima has to be up there with it

Well, I'm just afraid to get the 2003 because it's not labeled as a 2003.5 on the sticker which means the resale value will drop a lot since the 03 model has been around for 2 years....The TSX is the best 4 cylinder car out there for under 30K for sure....But I'd rather get a stripped version of the G35 even if that means forgoing leather....I just wish it would get better gas mileage like a Honda/Acura....:(

NoNo there is no labeling as 2k3.5 on the sticker.

Its a couple of running changes that we in the infinitit internet community have come to call 2003.5.

But the delaler sells only 2003's.

So all G's you might buy are 2003's.(other than the 04's of course which are not out yet)

I definetly not let that keep me from buying a G35..Get it you know you want it..

well the best 4 cyl for under 3ok is quite a statement (even if ur not counting turbo'd cars), because personally the numbers of even the QR for 19k are more appealing to me, but anyway, for 25k thats not where i would buy, considering if u look at altimas, g35s (stripped i know:(), o2 maximas(which have gone down in price), for about that money, and u get a v6 with loads more power, and stlil great luxury, and damn good gas mileage as well (my stepdads o2 maxima gets 22 in the city on avg), of course it depends on what ur looking for, but for that money, id pass

Well, it sounds like I shouldn't wait....The few remaining questions are: Is it worth it to get the BOSE? That's the only option I'd want, and also, what color is best? They took away the dark blue....So I'm not sure anymore....Finally, what type of discount have ppl been getting on their sedans?? :pface

I heard the TSX is actually the European Accord. The Euro Accord could be the same as the JDM version. It serves as the replacement for the 4 door Integra since RSX is 2 dr only.

yes it is the euro/jdm accord, however, it ISNT a replacement for the integra 4dr, atleast thats what acura said, they said its not a 4dr rsx, it's 'its own car seperate from any others'
