2004 G35 seat motor

My 04 G35 drivers seat motor for fore/aft movement seems to be out. Left side track moves some, right side will not move. Have heard about stripped gears. Any suggestions? Dealer wants 800+ for new track plus install. Help please THX

Hey! Welcome to Nico neighbor!! Had my seat motor replaced under extended warranty at Nissan in Huntersville. They told me it was so expensive cause it came in the lower assembly. There was another thread here discussing the replacement of the plastic gear.

had same problem dealer wanted to replace rack for $1100 found former infiniti mechanic who diagnosed 3 brokenparts. repaired for $300. he order pulley, cable and another part. lucky me!
