hello everyone!

im a new user and the proud owner of a used 2004 g35 sedan with 48,000 miles. I want to ask everyone here on what to expect with this vehicle, including maintanence, do's and donts, common problems with the car, and anything else that i would find interesting about the car. im planning on using 87 octane for trips to work. if 87 is ok should i use fuel injector fluid to keep the injectors clean becuase of low octane gas?

thanks for listenining!

oh! and one more thing...the car came with sat radio! is this standard and will it stay as long as i own the car?

Welcome to NICO and congrats on your purchase.

If you want your car to last, use 91. Switch to synthetic too.

I promise you there are a billion threads on 04's and common problems, what to look for etc..

Do a quick search and you will get ALL your answers!

Funny story, I tell my girlfriend that "Oh yeah! this car is so nice I won't even have to pimp it up"two days later I had an intake and other silly items in the mail.

Use at least 91octane, Amsoil / Mobil 1 seems to be the popular synthetic of choice. Change your plugs, Watch your paint, and the VQ's sometimes burn a little oil, keep an eye on your levels each fill up.

And, oh yeah, WELCOME!

G35's are the nicest cars, I think that all cars are jealous, and the G, (IMHO) has lead to a worldwide revolution of vehicle design.

I see subtle similarities on many cars from other manufacturers all over the place, everyday.

Your car is fast, but, if you're anything like me, you'll want it faster after 2 - 3 days.

Welcome to NICO

You didn't mention if the Sat radio is XM or Sirius. If its working then there is time left on the subscription. If its not working you will need to subscibe. If its Sirius Howard Stern is on channel 100

As a whole, G's are very reliable vehicles. Problems are only minor.
