2004 G35 Engine block same as from 2003 model?

Hi all,

I have 2004 G35, and looks like that I might need complete engine or an engine block. I found complete engine out of 2003, and being told that the engines are different.

Can anyone tell me if engine block and/or heads are the same? Production on my g35 is 12/03, and engine that i'm looking for is 08/03.

Same.. VQ didn't change until 2005 with the REV-UP and that was different heads.
