One of my front wheels got scratched with a curb the other day. I am interested in getting it fixed/polished. Has anyone gone through this before? If so, what was the result? Is there a place I can take my wheel that you recommend?

1-800-fixrim serves most of the east coast. They also allow people send them rims to fix over the course of about a week. Others will come to your house/office and fix it while you wait. Prices usually vary from $150~$225 per wheel depending on how badly damaged the wheel is and what company you use to do the repair.

Its not cheaper to buy a new/used wheel. Check with your dealer, they normally have some one that comes to the lot and fixes curbed wheels. I just had some 350z track wheels refinished, all 4. Cost me $150 for all 4. Which included fixing curb damage to all 4 wheels and scratch mark on spoke as well. The guy I used goes around to car lots and fixed wheels. Normal price is around $50 a wheel.

How long ago did this guy fix your wheels? Is the paint still good?
