My friend purchased a 2004 G35 Coupe 6mt for $24,000 with 30,000 miles. Now would you choose that G35 or a brand new 08 Altima 2.5 s?

30,000 miles is alot of miles compared to buying a brand new car.

It all depends on the condition of the g35. I still prefer new.

I think your friend payed a little 2 much for the G35. My friend picked one up last year with 35k miles for 17,000.

Forget the 2.5, you can get a new A/C 3.5 for 24,600.

30,000 miles in NOT alot for these cars.

Since i have 12,500 miles on my car 30,000 is a ton.

My last car got totalled with 45,000 miles on it. I had it for 5 years. I just like the feeling of having a brand new extremely dependable car.

Also i know nobody beat my coupe. I havent beat her yet but i plan too. LOL

But 5 years is a lot of time for someone to mess up the car..

Wow your friend should have paid 18K, but nonetheless, I would take a Excellent condition G over a A/C any day of the week

I would take a slightly used manual G35 over a 4 cylinder a/c

$$$$ y'all, I didn't say I'd pay for one....hell, I think the 06 and beyond 350Z is ...a slug for the money, I had a 2003 Touring Brickyard I picked up for a shade under 28K but that was almost 7 years ago....anyway I love my A/C but don't ever compare it to a G...

2 different animals. It depends what would be used for where would be used for and who would use it.

If you like to take your car for drifting well take the G. If you leave in snowy area and this would be your DD car well G is not really the best of your choice.

Some people prefer RWD to drive and some people can't handle 300 hp on RWD.

I prefer myself driving a new car with warranty.

You can still get a G with a warranty. It's called a CPO or Certified Pre Owned. Sometimes, the warranty on a CPO is better than a brand new warranty. And for a car to be CPO, it has to past a more rigorous set of criterias to be eligable for the warranty.

You are absolutely right. You can get warranty for the used G but that cost $$ too. I have no experience with those at all. So I can't say any good or bad.

I guess it comes down to personal preference to pick between the 2.
