Thinking about getting a cold air intake for my 2004 G35 coupe any recommendations would be appreciated, best kind etc. Does it improve the performance enough for the money and what happens to the gas mileage? What happens to the mass air flow sensor when you remove the stock air cleaner? They don't mention about it in the kits I see on the internet Thanks .

Here is an article you should read first.http://www.nicoclub.com/tech/intake-overview.shtml

The most popular intakes are JWT pop charger, Injen CAI, NISMO CAI or AEM CAI. They all produce about the same gains. Now you just have to decide which brand you want.

There's also the off brands too which are alot cheaper and as long as you're aware most don't come with bypass valves, and you get that seperately from AEM if you live in an area that gets deep puddles, then they really souldn't be any worse just not "cool" and with stickers...I'll let you know if there's any noticeable gain frrom mine .
