hi

first of all my names is jack

I live in Saudi arabia

there , I bought nissan altima 2006 V6 SE A/T transmission from nissan dealer (( In USA it is 2002 - 2004 ))

but it is not typetronic and not powerful

it doesnt have TCS OFF button

I asked an engineer works for nissan about the TCS OFF button and he told me that I will change the gearbox and the CPU

but now I am thinking about manual gearbox and typetronic and wondering : what are the differences between them ??

so how to install the TCS OFF button ?and what is the gearbox that I will install with the TCS OFF button ?

is there a kit shift for A/T transmission ? and where can I find it ?

I have no idea what "typetronics" is. However the only difference between abs ,tcs and vdc is software. on TCS there is a button. On VDC there are 2 additional sensors , a steering angle sensor, and a combination lateral g force/ yaw rate sensor. You would not need to change the gear box here in the US to obtain either of those. However I am not 100 % the car is prewired for the button needed for TCS or the sensors needed for VDC. So you MAY need the main harness to have it. The software upgrade would be to the ECM.

thanks for posting

my dear NISTECH , typetronic means gear with + and - to shift like manual gear . that what is it in the arabian gulf .

so you mean that no matter what the gear is if I installed a ECM .

but are there other ways to turn the TCS off without the button ?

I will chack if may car prewired or not and i will tell you

I want my A/T moves like manual. do you know that may 98 manual cefiro(VQ3.0DE) moves like my altima ?

I honestly dont know a whole hella of alot about non USDM vehicles and what they are equipped with.

As far as the techtronics trans we have the same thing but I dont belive its reffered to the same way here.

The only way to turn TCS of is with the button since it defaults to ON when you cycle the key on.

Dude your freaking me out calling me "Dear" stop it.

You also need to get the right ecm or have yours flash programed to a TCS eguipped model. This should only be done by well versed nissan techs or after market chip tuners. There are a multitude of programs available to your MY vehicle. You want to be sure you get the right configuration.
