I hope someone has an idea on this one! I replaced the rad in my car, filled the new one, let the car heat up and topped up the rad. It is full of anti freeze. When the car is idiling it heats up, but does not have heat in the car, unless I increase the revs to 2500 then it blows heat. If the revs drop below 2500 for example at a stop light, no heat comes out. It is getting cold and I hope someone can help me with this. Thanks very much!

There is air in coolant system. I would jack up front of car as high as possible without killing your self. Then remove radiator cap and use spill proof funnel with coolant in it and rev car up and down a little and you will see air bubbles. Do this until you do not see air bubbles anymore. That should fix it. These cars are easy to get air in system but not so easy to get out.

Wow, it is tough to get the air out! We had it so high up it needed aircraft warning lights! Ran for a quite a while. Still did not help. I am going to take it and have it all flushed out and see if that gets things back. Soon as you get to 1200 RPM the heat comes in. Thanks again for the help.
