New to the club so please be patient with me. I own a 2004 350Z Roadster. I replaced the battery. When I connected the negative terminate on the battery post the alarm went off. I tried all of the suggested remedies that I could find on line. I even tried the remedy suggested here. BTW I had to remove the fuse from the horn or my neighbors would have been beating me to a pulp.

I know I am not the only one who has had this problem. There has to be a way to disarm the alarm after replacing the battery. I even called the Nissan dealership nearest me and no one in their shop was aware of the issue or how to resolve it. I decided not to use this dealership's service department.

Anyway, can someone please shed some light on a possible fix? I would surely appreciate it!

Thanks,

Did you try unlocking the driver's side door with your key?

04Pathse,

Thanks for your input. I appreciate your taking the time to help.

Yes, I followed the instructions that were on a similar post in this forum. I also inserted the key 7 times and locked and unlocked the door with the key and used the remote.

Any other ideas?

Thanks,

Mark
