2004 350Z engine noise....

Friend of mine owns a 2004 350z with ~100,000.0 miles, and it sounds like it has developed the dreaded timing chain tensioner issue. I cannot find a TSB that ties this tensioner noise to the 3.5 liter 350z.

I own a 2005 Murano (~80,000 miles) with the 3.5 liter engine so I'm in anticipation mode for this development also.

Does that tensioner failure apply to the 350z? Is there a TSB for this for the 350z?

That particular service bulletin (NTB07-042a) applied to the Quest, Maxima, Altima (3.5), Pathfinder, Xterra, and Frontier (V6). The 350Z and Murano were not included, but that doesn't mean there wasn't a separate TSB for those models. I do not recall there being one though.
