ICE Performance, Las Vegas is starting to orginize for the 2004 240sx National Convention in Las Vegas, NV. It is very early but we want to get an idea of the interest (or lack there of)

that sounds pretty cool to me. I'd get to kill two birds with one stone- i have always wanted to go to vegas and really want to go to a national 240 convention.

damnit, how come there is never anything cool in the great state of PA??? doesnt anyone realize that pennsylvanians love cars more than any other group of people on the planet??!?!?!?

My vote is to have it somewhere within driving distance of me

I'll second that! Maybe i'll see you at Cars @ Carslile? The Hershey import showdown? HIN Baltimore? Not to mention all the E-town events. But no exclusive nissan stuff..

very true, i would love to go to vegas, im looking at about 14hr drive from where im sittin, plus the 20ft to my car, so bout 14hrs and 20ft away, mite be able to swing it:ylsuper

I didn't realize there were that many 240's near Vegas.I agree with J-spec. It would be great to have a national convention in the northeast too. Unfortunately, Bowling Green is also too far away....

Vegas Baby! Vegas! I'm always ready to go to Vegas and this time it's a National 240 convention... even better!! It better be on a weekend though! My wife can't take days off work on weekdays...

Hello,

We are looking at early June or late Aug. right now. Heat is a big concearn. It should be around 100 degrees, not 110 like in July. We are looking for a minimum of 200 240sx's or we do not want to do this. We don't want to make people drive 2000 miles to see a handful of 240sx's in the parking lot of Burger King. For those that were at the 2002 L.A. Convention know what I am talking about. For others, this will not just be your normal meet this is the YEARLY Convention with Strip/Track Racing, Dyno runs, Prizes, and a whole weekend of entertainment. Its nice to see people from as far as Florida are looking forward to this. Please keep the responses/concearns coming and start spreding the news.

I'd really like to go myself. I'm trying to find someone to go with me to the '03 convention this year, but Vegas I would definately be interested in. Although, I'm way the **** in VA, so it's a long drive either way.

I'm always down for a trip to Vegas! If anyone form FL, GA, SC, or AL, would think about going we might could meet and convoy. I've been to Vegas 4 times and am always looking for and excuse to go.

I was all for going, mainly because of the track time that will be involved on Sunday. Yet racing around a track in 100+ degree weather doesn't sound like a good idea at all.

I am up for Vegas, only a 6 hour drive for me. I would like to go to the National event this year, but thats to fare for me to drive when i would rather spend the money on getting my 240 working. Maybe if it was in Vages this year i would be able to make it. was planing on going to Vages next month anyway.

Why, that's exactly what I'll plan on doing. I mean, its VEGAS!

That would be a GREAT spot for a Convention, who cares about how hot it will be...it'll be a blast. Vegas showgirls, gamb|ing, drinking, buffets, insane hotels, the strip, and a bunch of 240s...what's better?

Yeah, It'll be a blast for all you 21 and over... But I'll only be 19 at the time of that event, which will suck ***...

Oh well, It'll still be fun. I Just hope I can go.

Anyone know how many people are going to be in Atlanta this year? I'm seriously considering going... probably won't make the early bird deadline though.
