Looking to replace my 2003 Nissan Maxima VQ with a newer engine, my died last week. What are the main differences from the 03 to 04,05,or 06. I see engines listed for the 03 as vin D and 04 as vin B. I do have a 6 spd tranny in it so I'm wondering if that would fit on a newer 04 and up VQ. Any help in this matter is appreciated as I need my car fixed soon and I want to get the right VQ35DE engine for it, preferably something newer with lower miles.
