2003 Spec V Idle Drop

Does anyone know why my Spec V idle drops after being stopped for a couple seconds..? It also sometimes lingers from 800-1000 rpms until it drops to 700 rpms then finally to 600-650..
I replaced my Maf a couple months ago and it was out of a 2004 altima, would that have anything to do with it ?
Ive heard about the idle air control valve relearn and the tps, but Im afraid of cleaning the throttle body because its so touchy.
Has anyone else had this problem?

Is the engine trying to stall, or are you just noticing a dip?
An older engine might just have that characteristic these days. However, there are some other things you can look into:
Clean the IACV
Check the spark plugs age and gap
Remove and clean the TB with some solvent and a toothbrush. Avoid the electronic parts if you're worried.

The QR25DE electronics are VERY picky.
1. Only use the oem maf.
2. Perform the idle air relearn. You could do it using the gas pedal or by using a program called Nissan Data Scan and a specific ODB II cable.
3. Unless the throttle body is really dirty, I wouldn't touch it.

Thank you for the replies. It wants to dip down around 600 after stopping for about 10 seconds. It doesn't want to stall and I haven't checked my spark plugs. It will stay around 800-900 rpms when coming to a stop then it will go down. Also Ive noticed if I'm going around 60 and push the clutch in the rpms will drop real fast, right to 600 rpms then shoot back up to around 7-800. Maybe I need to find a spec v MAF. Even though they sell them online under "altima and spec v's"

My 2002 spec has idling issues for a few minutes whenever I fill up the gas tank. Drops to around 200 after I rev but a few minutes driving and its good. Randomly stalled out on me once months ago. Hasn't happened since then
