The 2003 Convention will be held the weekend of Nov 1 in Birmingham, Alabama, hosted by the South East region. We are still trying to close on a hotel deal, but that will be soon. The track we will use is the Talladega Grand Prix. More info on the track can found at http://www.tgprace.com. Once I have more details, and once the website for registration is up, I'll report back. If you live in the area, and want to help, please email me at [email protected]

Hey Eric, do we have a SERCA banner like the 240 banner we got up on the rotating ads at the top of this page? If so, email it to me and I'll work on getting it up here. If not, let me know and maybe I'll try working on making one.

I don't know of a SERCA banner, but I'll check on it.

I couldn't afford the trip with me trying to travel for a week coming up soon. I wish I did make it cause it sounded like lots of fun from what I have read on various forums.

Did you race the Spec cause I saw a lot of turbo B13s in pics like Greg Perry?

What sucks is that was prolly my best opportunity to go out on the track :( but I couldn't make it

Hopefully next year depending on where it is. How many people and cars made it out anyhow?

Next year is in Los Angeles, CA. I will be there yet again, with my car ;)

This year we had about 50 people make it to the track day, and probably 70 or so at the show on Sunday. Nothing like 70 SE-R's in the parking lot. Heck, we had 9 red B13's all parked next to each other. We had 89 total people pre-registered. Some did not make it, however, some showed up and registered at the convention.

Only 4 spec V's were there, including mine. You definitely would have won best B15 SE-R at the show. The winner won because he had a carbon fiber hood LOL.

Depending on where I'm living in May (when the next convention is tentiviely scheduled), maybe we could caravan to CA? Not sure where I'll be then, but wherever I am, I'm driving to CA.

It was nice seeing the regular faces I see once a year, but it was also nice meeting some new ones. I got to meet Yahnozha, who drove there from NM, Justin from everythingnissan.com and infinitipartsusa.com, and many other people who were fun to hang out with.

Cory, if you go to http://www.sr20deforum.com, there is a forum at the top called "2003 National Convention." If you go in there, there is hundred's of pictures up of the convention. Also, some great stories about the weekend.
