2003 Sedan Aftermarket Head Unit Install

There is a lot that I have wanted to do to my car. I actually have had it since December and still never taken a picture of it. This past week, I just got it tinted. Now, I want a new head unit. I basically need to know a cost estimate and what I will HAVE to buy to even make it work. I am looking at this unit... http://www.bestbuy.com/site/ol...53868 I have found it at a better price from other sites, but I will get to that later. This website http://www.mynismo.com/products/?id=4343 has the plastic double din console piece for only $85. This may sound stupid, but do I need that A/C control for $200 if I already have them with the car? That is obviously the one thing that confuses me, but why would they sell it if you don't need it considering all cars come with the controls haha. I am also interested in hooking a back up camera to it. Does anybody have any recommendations for a decent camera but is still only around $100 I like the idea of the license plate mount but maybe you guys have a better place to put them. Finally, I need to know what to expect from installation. I would assume I probably want it done professionally. Best Buy does it for about $75 but I would doubt that would include the camera as well. Thanks for everybody's help. This site has helped me out a lot.

Yes, you need to buy the climate controls. The USDM climate controls and HU are on the same circuit board, so buying them separates it out, which you do have to do. Its stupid, I know, and the only thing that has held me back on doing this as well (bought the car specifically w/o Bose because I knew I was going to want to upgrade at some point). As for the JDM trim piece, I would make sure they have it first before you buy anything else. From what I've heard elsewhere, these aren't available at the moment and indefinitely. There are knockoffs out there, but they have rubber buttons, which are gross. I wouldn't recommend having it installed at Best Buy or any retail store. Go to a dedicated, well-known car stereo shop to have it done. I would say $75 would be about average, I had a stereo installed and it was $50 per unit (had a HU & XM installed for $100). As for cameras, the cheapest you'll probably find is $100-150. Here's a list of cameras; as for recommendations, I really don't have any.
