2003 Q45 Disable Intelligent Cruise

I would like to disable the Intelligent Cruise Control in my 2003 Q45. The owner's manual implies that this can be done, but I'll be damned if I can figure it out. Any ideas?

Press and hold the Cruise button for 5 seconds and it switches to the regular cruise control mode.
