2003 Q45 Dimming Navigation Screen

When I'm driving at night the Navigation screen is too bright. Is there any way to dim it to a much lower level? Can I turn the monitor off?

you can turn the knob on the dimmer for lights 1 click over and it will dim the whole Nav screen including audio and CC. or you can go to settings and then display and turn off monitor then it disables everything but the dimmer switch should do it.
