Hi! Thanks for the add. I have a 2004 pathfinder platinum that I bought with 100,000 on it for my son. Presently has 180,000 never gave us an issue and I just love the old Pathfinders. I have the opportunity to buy an 03 Oathfinder with 60,000 on it. It has been taken care of as it’s from someone I’m acquainted with. My question / concern is, that a brand new battery was put in in October 2018 so four months ago and it was dead upon starting it today to show me. The owner has been sick and it hasn’t been started in a couple of months and it’s winter here in NJ. Would that not starting it for two months be enough reason for the battery to be dead or should I be concerned about another issue? I totally love the truck and would like to buy it but I’m concerned about a brand new battery being dead four months after getting it. I just don’t know if two months in cold weather and being run would be the only reason. Thanks!!! Elaine

Absolutely, that can happen. If it starts with a jumpstart, let it run a while, take a drive, and then see if it starts.

If it has killed the battery completely, it's new battery time - but I don't think I'd let that scare me away from the Pathy.

Good luck, and welcome aboard!
