2003 Pathfinder, Intermitten P-1121 condition

Every once in a while I'll start my pathfinder only to find my ETC not working (code P1121). To correct it I shut it down for 1-3 minutes then re-start and the problem has corrected itself. Can anyone tell me how to fix it without taking a bath at the dealer. I cleaned the throttle body today and I'm just waiting see how that works out.

Just to update you all, after cleaning the throttle body completely and spraying WD-40 the two pivot points of the throttle valve I haven't had this problem reocure again. Keeping my fingers crossed.
