2003 Nissan Xterra power locks malfunction

Lately, out of nowhere, my power door locks are malfunctioning. They keep locking randomly. When they lock I can't unlock the car from inside- I can only use the key on the outside & pull the handle at the same time. Any ideas what the problem is/where its coming from & how to fix it? I've reset the car by taking the negative off of the battery & it just keeps happening. Help?

Sounds like a short to ground somewhere. Make sure that you don't have any exposed wires going to the master control switch.

Do the other doors unlock with the switch?If so the drivers door actuator is faulty.If not look to the master switch.
