2003 Nissan murano

When I'm driving my Nissan Murano sometimes it stalls and will not change out unless I let it sit for an hour or two and then it drives normal again. This has been going on since December and the dealership tells me I need a transmission that will cost me $5000.00!!!!!I don't think that is the problem I'm hving because I'm still driving the vehicle....Can soem one help & keep me off the side of the road.,,This car does this when I'm in traffic at a high rate of speed ....I've taken to the dealer on several occasions I guess I'll never buy another used vehicle from anyone.. :

Im gonna take a shot at this and say this has nothing to do with drifting??

Cant help ya but..its sad to hear of a brand new Nissan acting like that
