2003 Nissan Murano Died Today.....
Well,As the title reads, I think my Murano may have passed on. It was hit by a semi-truck this morning on my way to work. My wife was driving and I was sitting shotty when we were suddenly hit because the driver wasn't paying attention to the traffic and road. All of the impact was on my side. No major injuries or nothing like that, but a few bumps and BIG bruises. My body is gonna be aching tomorrow!!! So just wanted to write a post bidding farewell to my Murano. Even though I had you for only a month and I just made my first payment (4/1/04), you will dearly be missed. Thanks for all your guys support and comments. Sorry for the"no pics" in my gallery, I guess they are still pending approval from the moderators of the local forum. I have a prescription for some massage therapy and some really strong drugs. I have some lawyers in mind, but want to check their credentials before hiring any of them. I spoke with the adjuster today and he said that there is MAJOR stuctural. The firewall collapsed causing the dash board to hit my knees. The floor then buckled, lifting my seat higher than normal. So there was a lot of damage done and we are actually lucky to be able to walk away without any broken bones. Especially me since I was in the passenger side! I will be looking into getting another Murano for sure. Thanks again for all the support and I'll keep this post updated on everything that is going on.AZhitman: Thanks for the welcome!!!
Well,I just spoke w/the claims adjuster and he said it's a total loss. They are giving me $30k for the car, but he said it is negotiable if I want more. I will be negotiating... 
I think I'm gonna go to Nissan tonight and work a deal with them and have my insurance swap cars for me so nothing will have to come out of my own pocket. The adjuster said if I can find something for around $32-34K, they will more than likely do it. I need another SUV though cuz of my daughter who luckily wasn't in the car with us!!! So we'll see where that takes us. I contacted a lawyer and am just waiting for a return call so I can get compensated for all this mess. Thanks again for all the support and I'll keep updating as things progress.
