Hello,I bought a 2003 SL with 107k on it a month ago. Runs great, no transmission or engine problems. I found out through the dealer that he could not put me in touch with the previous owner. But that he would call him to get any service history. He did and he reported the previous owner bought it new and changed the oil every 3k and did nothing else, not only that but he said he loved the 2003 so much he traded it in on a 2007 - good sign. HOWEVER, I am concerned about no trans service and any other things that might need to be addressed. If it was you what services would you have done on the vehicle. It is tempting to "leave well enough alone" but it goes against better judgment . . .Thanks

the CVT fluid should be changed at 100k, its a somewhat expensive fluid but its alot cheaper than letting it go and having to pay for a new transmission. i work as a tech for a nissan dealership so my advise is to take it to them and have them throw consult on it and check the life of the transmission fluid. more than likely its ready to get flushed out...even if the life of the fluid is ok by consult i would still highly recommend getting that old fluid out and replacing it with fresh fluid.

I also work at a dealership. We do a drain and fill with the 30k 60k and 90k services. I would recommend taking it to a dealership because I have seen to many CVTs destroyed by incorrect fluid.
