I recently purchase a used 2003 Murano, and it has the stock Navigation system and I seem to have some difference from the 2004 and above. Instead of a MAP or DEST button, I have a TRIP, Fuel ECO, TRIP RESET, and E/M buttons. But only the TRIP button works, all the others seems to be dead, although by pressing the TRIP button it cycles through all of the functions of the other buttons, Trip 1 & 2, Maintenance, tire pressure, Fuel Eco, and the rest.

Through the SETTINGS button I can add addresses to the address book, and I can change all the items needed to input items for the Navigation System, but once done, I can't find a method to tell it "TAKE ME FROM HERE TO HERE". I can mark sites, I can change the voice volume, but I can't get to a menu to say....take me from point A to point B. I currently have the 6.1 navigation disc, and have ordrered the newest 6.5 with the flash cd-rom.

My question, is...am I doing something wrong? are there buttons that should be hooked up that aren't? any instructions would be helpful.

Thanks in advance

I have a 2004 350Z with the Zenrin navi. Yours MAY be similar.

After I have populated the address book, I press the DEST (Destination) button on the panel. (It is not accessed by the joystick,) This presents me with several options: Address book, Address, Map, etc. I then move the highlight (using the joystick) to Address Book and press ENTER (press dowh on the joystick) then scroll up or down to select the desired location. Press ENTER. Then press OK which will pop up next. After a few seconds, the blue track line appears and, if i'm on a road that the system recognizes, the voice guidance starts. If I'm not on that road (the milddle of Walmart parking lot for example) The blue line will appear on the adjacent road. When I reach that road, the voice guidance will start.

Hope this helps
