Hi all from Bucks County Pennsylvania.Got a great story I had to share about my Murano and Garmin NAV
A little background info...
I have a portable Garmin Navigation system :Nuvi 760It plugs into my auxilary power on the Dashboard. The Garmin plug has a fuse in it.
Well the other day, while parked in a local shopping center, I noticed that my Garmin Nav was not getting power from the outlet in the dash. It had fallen out of the receptacle on the dash.So I pushed it back in.
I then turn the key to start the engine and all that I got was the sound of the cranking of the engine but no ignite of fuel. The car just would not start.I called AAA and got towed to the nearest Nissan dealer.
Here is what happened, the fuel pump fuse blew becasuse the Garmin Nav plug malfuctioned when I pushed it into the auxilary plug in the dashboard.
So to all those who are driving a 2003 Murano and you happen to own a Garmin Nav 760,(the one with an inline fuse in the power cord) a heads up...Be sure the inline fuse on the Garmin power cord is corretly in place. If you trying plugging in the faulty power cord, you will blow the Fuel Pumpfuse in your Murano.
