2003 Maxima SE

Quick question, I just purchased a 2003 MAxima SE with 26k miles. tonite while driving i noticed the service engine light soon was very dimly lit on the dash. I turned the car off and tunred the key to the on position and the service engine light was bright like normal but when i start the car it is very dimly lit in the cluster and tht is the only light that is dimly lit. PLEAS HELP

The light is on means something has to be checked. You can take it to autozone or a place like that where they hook it up to a scanner and it gives them the code, its usually a letter followed by 4 numbers. From there you will have to find out what the code means, I guess you can post here or call and ask a nissan dealer. good luck
