I have an 2003 Maxima with about 60k miles on it. I've driven it on the track(1/4 mile) 4 times. The clutch was slipping so I didn't get any good runs in. During one run it was slipping really bad and smelled terrible. Okay, so I'm a spectator now. My issue is during daily driving I notice no slipping whatsoever. I drive major highways to work everyday and I occasionally give the clutch a workout. Never noticed any problem except at the track.
I have been considering installing a Fidanza or a JWT flywheel and a new clutch.
Just looking for opinions. Should I do it now or wait for the clutch to start slipping on the road?
