Hi, I'm new to this forum. But I know where to go when I need good advice.
A little about me,
I recently aquired a 2003 M45. My first Infiniti car so not to familiar with them.
I have worked on cars for 37 years be it mine, my friends or customers.
But this is the first Infiniti. Now my issue and question.

Issue:
I am leaking cooling fan fluid from what looks like the bottom of the water pump.
I just got this vehicle so I don't know how long it has been this way. So I am just going to replace the water pump.

Question:
So I am seeing the water pump is around $250 to $300 except I see a DNJ Pump for $53 from Engine Parts Only.
Has anyone used this pump? I am curious if any good or just cheap junk?
I am on a budget at the moment and trying to get this car fixed up to probably sell.
I look forward to any comments.
thanks, Dave

Probably a good call. Despite it being expensive, these OEM level pumps are designed to last well over a decade. Id be a bit suspect on the $53 pump lifetime.

Well I didn't have much of a choice but to go with the $300 pump.
The $53 pump was for a newer M45 or Nissan/Infiniti vehicle where the fan was not fluid driven.
I can't figure out why they didn't just use electric fans to begin with.
