Has anyone heard anything about the new Michelin Primacy MXV4 tire? I am considering their 245/45VR18 for my 2003 M45.

This is a Grand Touring All Season tire. A bit over-priced in my opinion, and the "All Season" has the usual caveats - this is neither an outstanding summer tire, nor one I would trust in snow. You will not see a performance or handling improvement per se. Given that it is a Michelin tire, it is probably a well-made tire though! And will meet the load index specs, etc.

I think that there are better tires available, with similar or lower price tags, that would suit you better in summer, and if you have snow in your area, then a set of true winter tires (on cheap wheels perhaps) is a must for any high-power RWD car. Take a look at one the sticky threads in this forum for a list of tires that I have put together for the 2003/4 M45.
