My wife has a RHD 2002 Nissan Cedric, which looks to be the same as a 2003 Infiniti M45. When she purchased it, it was lowered on springs only.

What size springs do I need to be able to return the car to its stock height?

Thank you

Looks like the spring part # is 54010-CR905 (for the front at least) but I can't seem to find the size anywhere. You may just want to go to a u-pull-it junk yard and see if you can source some or at least look at some and measure...

Thank you! I cannot find that part sold in Canada for some reason.. but now I have a starting point.
It is like $500 USD + shipping, which is alot. Could I get aftermarket coilovers that mimic the stock height? What information do I need for this, like do different cars have different strut mounting bolt patterns?

I am asking here because I have tried checking out tuner parts websites and none of them say they have coilovers that fit the 2003 Infiniti M45, but that sounds crazy to me. So if I could find out what specifications I need, hopefully I can order one for say a G35 that will fit. I am a noob when it comes to suspension though, so if this is a bad idea let me know.

Coilovers can be a very large range of heights. Any of them should be able to be set to the stock ride height, and many places allow you to select specific spring rates as well so you can choose if you want to run stock rates or a bit softer (or harder). The difficult part will be finding one compatible that isn't a large sum of money due to being imported from Japan and most likely out of production long since. I believe your body is a Y34, so any Y34 coilover should mount to your car correctly.

edit: These look like they are for your vehicle:

If all you want is springs, then coilovers are probably not worth the extra cost. You should look at your shocks and struts though, see if they are looking worn and maybe needing replacement soon. If you need a full suspension setup, the cost will probably be the same to replace it all as just getting coilovers.

I agree with this.
