Hi everyone. More issues with the 2003 M45, so I'll just keep it short.
I need to replace the oil pan, is there any way to do this WITHOUT removing the whole engine?
The reason for replacement is the mounts for the screws that secure the power steering tensioner onto the oil pan broke, and without those, there's nothing to secure the tensioner to run the PS.
Service manual says the only way is to pull the engine and hang it but I don't believe it.
Someone please give me some insight.
