so that would allow you to hook up a newer nav system?

As for as I know, none of the aftermarket nav systems have RCA outputs for you to display the nav image on other screens.

The PAC Audio Video kit gives you 2 sets of RCA inputs which can be displayed on the stock nav screen. (ie. a dvd player and reverse camera)

What I have done with my system is added a Alpine DVD Head unit with RCA outputs, which plays dvd's and also has Ipod control.

So now when you hit the SAT radio button it switches the video/audio inputs on and I can play DVD's and music through my ipod/iphone

Here is a pic of the head unit.

For the rears they give u a new coil spring for the spring seat. and then also a coilover shock with a spring as well.

Where can one source these coilovers?

Your car looks great btw!

What if you don't have factory Nav? Do you think it would still work?

Yes it will still work, the difference is only that the non nav screen is slightly smaller. but the wiring to the screen is basically the same.

12Gs as in 12 000$ thats insane for suspentions and rims. No way it costs that much

maybe I'm missing the point of VIP but isn't it just a drop and extreme camber with tint and chrome trims?

like this no? can't cost 12Gs to do that to car...

putting bags on a car and slamming crome rims on will not cost you that much but putting quality parts ,rims and rubber along with a kit and other stuff can be unlimited spending .....

money talks and the spending never stops ....pending on that car

lets take a y34 or a gs Junction produce 5 pc kit with muffler and grill --$6000 plus instal and painting

rims and rubber leons harditts beils - what ever 5g with rubber ..(new 20 inch )

i am already at 11 ..i did not put any suspension yet ...much less adding a air runner with digital controls ..

Any vip car that you are buying the parts at market price will be big bucks .. .

any one can call them selves vip but evey one has their own falvour ....

quality parts means less hassles you should come to the TO mini vip meet its done by lexus club ..

Which specific PAC Audio Video Integration kit did you use? I'm trying to do the same thing and PAC's website only lists stuff for 05 and up M45's.

I think one weekend in May or June I am just going to try and old school it. i already have a Bose wiring harness for Nissan / Infiniti and a spare cassette trim peace. If I can figure out the wiring then I will post a write up for anyone else. Considering they sold less than 9000 (>7000, 2003s and >2000, 2004s) Y34 models there just isn't high demand. I think one of the plugs (power) will be a direct fit for the Bose adapter i have. The speakers may require some splicing.
I really want to get this done for sound quality, bluetooth and so I dont have to hit the Audio button every time I start the car. It is getting old. A single din where the cassette deck is will be a perfect location.
