At 160k...having a issue will losing oil. 6 quarts between oil changes. Might be camshaft seal. Any others with this mileage or more please share what repairs you done. Would LOVE to fix and keep my vehicle. Until I can get my hands on an 56x or Q70 5.6x

I'm no mechanic, but losing that much oil every 3,500 miles is indicative of something really wrong with your engine. I would have a trusted mechanic identify the cause of your leak and have it fixed. These motors can easily last 200-300k miles, if not more. Of course, some will have more serious issues than others.

Do a search here for M45 catch can install.

6 quarts between oil changes? So, you're adding 6 quarts every 3000-6000 miles? Is there a huge puddle where you park?

Inspect the rear and front main seal areas for oil leaks. Does your exhaust blow blue smoke often or even ever?
