i'm with Progressive and when i tried to replace my 99 es300 with the m, my payment went from $123/mo to $512/mo!.................is this normal for my insurance payment to be $100 more than my car payment?............ plus i just turned 25 with a perfect record.

any suggestions?

not sure how your driving record is, but through progressive full coverage on all the vehicles with a $500 deductible, our 03 M45, 00 Cherokee and 95 Corvette is only $211 a month.

so not sure one yours???????

94.73 per month with State Farm--$1000 deductible, full coverage. I am 30 with a clean driving record, I also get a "multi-line" discount because all of my cars/valuables/house is covered with them.

Thanks everyone for your input.

Settled on a rate with American Family for 150/mo full coverage. Agent said

that Las Vegas has the highest auto insurance rates in the country but

512/mo is insane. I called progressive and the guy had no answers for me.

Said that the m45 is a "performance car" and thats the way it is. Though

flattered, I explained that its a 4 door luxury sedan not a McLaren but he

wouldn't budge. Must admit i was a little worried for a second
